here's the first entry in a new series of youtube videos I intend on making, live production sessions with light editing and voiceover narration to walk you through the actual minute-to-minute process of working in Renoise. this was a song fragment more in line with my "Attunement" style from a few years ago, mixing chopped breaks and trap drums over a nice smooth jazzy sample, gratis of the greatest Yuji Ohno; from the song "Samba Temperado" specifically. hope this is informative or at least somewhat entertaining, and if you like it feel free to let me know in the comments what other genres i should give a shot. but before you even ask, breakcore is probably going to be the next one.

I’ve liked sample heavy genres for a while now and as much as I want to try making my own stuff i’ve found it kinda daunting. This video makes it a bit easier to understand, breaking it down from start to finish. hope to see the breakcore session soon and keep up the great work

I really liked this video / format - I've been using renoise for years, but I'm way slower at getting anything into the DAW Seeing other people's workflow helps.. Cheers

I usually follow the videos by subtitles and translation, a pity I don't have that today. But it's ok, your videos are great

Love you channel- very much a bigger in renoise why when I drag samples in the sampler do they always sound so weird - very fast or slow
