We all have wants and desires, but how do we avoid being controlled by them? Pastor Steven shows that because Jesus experienced thirst on the cross, our thirst can now ultimately be satisfied.

I was searching for a way to rid myself of a desire for revenge for a deep hurt someone had inflicted on me but clicked on this sermon - which I didn't think was about vengeance, but when the pastor said "I don't want God to forgive them. I want God to GET 'EM!" that is exactly how I felt. I realized I was trapped and so thirsty and looking for water in the wrong place. This may not have been the sermon I was looking for but it was the one I needed right now in this moment and I have Free Refills for LIFE! AMEN

This sermon was excellent and I never would have viewed Jesus words that way but after cross-examining scriptures, its fully accurate. They say 3 scriptures are needed to hold a base to your interpretation...and afterward, I was thinking. John 19:34 elaborates upon this basis. "Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of BLOOD and WATER". Why would water purely flow from a human body? My interpretation is that of the woman at the well. Jesus bled the blood that covered us, through the ultimate sacrifice, and poured out the water that we may never thirst again. God is amazing, the scriptures all align truly as one single love letter.
