False Advertising - Star Wars: Acolyte & Star Trek: Picard

The trailers for the Acolyte could make many think Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss) "Jedi Master Trinity" was going to be a main or at least recurring character throughout the whole Acolyte series which could get more people to signup for Disney's streaming service, but she died in the first episode after her having a couple minutes of screen time.
The trailer for Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard could have made many people think Moriarty was going to be the main protagonist of at least an episode or two like in TNG, instead he wasn't even Moriarty and he was easliy defeated by humming music unlike before. Gene Roddenberry once said he didn't want to put TOS characters in TNG just for a cheap nostalgia grab and that's the sort of thing Terry Matalas did. If they bring back a big character, they should use them for something big, not an insult to past episodes.
