Living with severe anxiety and panic for most of my life, I never imagined a day where I would wake up without worry, fear, and anticipation – the kind that makes getting out of bed seem impossible.

I remember staying under the covers hiding from every problem I thought I had, making life that much harder for myself and the people I love most.

You don't have to let anxiety rule your life.

Seek the help you need and be open with those who love you. And, when you find yourself in the middle of having a panic attack or chronic worrying, try the technique I discuss in this video. I hope it's the start of a new appreciation for yourself. xo

Anxiety can be understood only by people who are facing it, I feel sad to see that lady crying

To those who are facing anxiety, please remember you are not alone. Anyone of any age can have anxiety, and it doesn't make you crazy. It's just thoughts in your minds that tell you that you are. But deep in you, your true self is a great soul. Do not give up in fighting anxiety!

To anyone who's gonna stumble upon my comment. I just wanna let you know that everything's gonna be okay ❤ Edit: today’s October 26, 2021. Posted this comment about a year ago when my anxiety is so high and I’m feel so scared and anxious everyday.. and I just saw today the likes and replies, and I want to let you know that I’m doing so much better now compared to last year. My last panic attack was around August 2020 and I hope I never experience it again. But yes, everything’s gonna be okay. It may take longer time for some, but you just have to stay strong. Everyday’s a battle, I know. And no, I am not an expert. But I want you to trust that everything is going to be okay. Hang in there warriors ♥️

I read in a blog that said “attempts to avoid anxiety are actually the fuel at the heart of most anxiety disorders” and I honestly never thought about it that way before. Accept and embrace the fact that you’re feeling anxious instead of trying to fight/avoid it. Now, whenever I’m feeling anxious, I look at is as an opportunity to build my tolerance to it by pretty much accepting it and then ignoring it by staying engaged with whatever task that I was concentrating on. Let it come and go. Do not contract around anxiety but remain open to it and let it extinguish itself - Tara Brach

If you are stressed out, anxious, feel busy but getting nothing done, you need 3 things: 1) Meditate daily (20 minutes first thing in the morning- yes you do have time- you make time) 2) Take action with a timer- start a timer to get your work done by- this way you work faster and stay focused and get more done in less time- because you are not day dreaming and losing focus as much inbetween 3) Start Gratitude journalling and Achievement journalling Gratitude journalling is writing down 10 things you are grateful for (honestly not with sarcasm) Achievement Journalling is a powerful way to rewire your brain for more confidence and motivation: you write 10 things you are proud of yourself for, things you did well, habits you stuck to, the small wins, the big wins. Doing this makes you less stressed because you make a habit of consciously reminding yourself of all the good things you did get done and gives your mind evidence that you are going in the direction of your goals rather than feeling like you are so busy yet getting nothing done!

Normal anxiety is horrible, but when you have generalised anxiety disorder, it’s pure hell, you struggle to relax and constantly worrying

The saying that kept me going was, "no storm lasts forever".
  • If you suffer from anxiety, but get up out of bed on a daily basis, get washed, brush your teeth, make your lunch and go off to work, knowing full well you’re going to be fighting a battle only a few would understand, but you have to provide for your family and keep a roof above your heads! You my friend are an absolute machine and should be so proud of yourself, because there’s thousands of people out there who choose to lock themselves in and hide away from the world! Keep battling on. Your day is coming! ❤️

This year I have experienced my first ever panic attack. Went to the hospital because I could not breathe properly. Very horrifying. I pray for everybody dealing with anxiety issues and may we all find ways to conquer our battles each and every day. God bless everyone!
  • I have anxiety about EVERYTHING. Constant heart pounding and me trying to breath to calm myself down and get myself back in the moment. When I have a panic attack, I get super hot, my thoughts race, my heart pounds so fast, and I feel like I can’t breath. I have to sit down and close my eyes. If I’m around others, and they try to interrupt my panicking, I get super mad, irritated, and mean. I didn’t have the panic attacks for months and now I have them again ugh!
