The Shocking SCOTUS Leak and the GOP's Decades-Long Plot to Overturn Roe: A Closer Look

Whenever the GOP say ANYTHING, always remember that: every accusation, is a confession.

YES it is a HUGE deal that this opinion was leaked.... that's the ENTIRE POINT. Somebody realized that the decision is so ridiculous that they would risk their career on leaking it.

Friend of mine has always maintained that one of the central messages of the GOP and their followers is “Poor us! We’re sooooooo persecuted! We can’t force our belief system on others, therefore our rights are being violated!”

Honestly, if I was a law clerk there and that came across MY desk. I think I would accept the consequences and leak it. Because it's too important for people to know about.

Yes, playing the victim while systematically removing rights has been their MO for a while now.

Tired of people constantly calling Susan Collins a "Moderate Republican" there is NO Such Thing as a Moderate Republican, she's as Far-Right as the rest of'em.

A woman's right to make decisions concerning her own body is the right law. Over turning Roe v. Wade is another reason why government needs to get rid of the filibuster.

Calling anti-abortionists "pro-life" is extremely misleading, and should be stopped. Most women who get abortions are also "pro-life", and want to live, and at the right time, might later want to have children. It's like calling someone who overeats "pro-food", implying that someone who eats correctly is "anti-food". Or calling some women, who decide not to have children at all, "anti-life". Most of the terms used in this debate are seriously flawed in their application, and cause erroneous emotional reactions.

If you don't want an abortion, don't get one. I just don't understand people who want to control what others do to themselves. If it's of you and it's in you, it's yours.

Solidarity with my American friends - please throw everything you have into the midterms, a lot is at stake. And remember that Women's rights are only the first on the chopping block, if they get away with this, even more will be taken away. Wishing you strength and sending you best wishes from Europe

Lying, deception, and secrecy. Why are these “morally righteous” judges acting like a spouse who’s having an affair?

They take away their constituents' right to privacy, in private, knowing most of their own colleagues have paid (and will always be able to obtain) an abortion whenever they have a wife, daughter or mistress that needs one.

The scotus should never be secret. Everything they discuss should be public access.

"This is an insurrection". This is the seminal moment of what-aboutery. How pathetic they are.

Perhaps these same Judges should pass a law which states that ALL men/boys have a vasectomy unless they are legally married. You can bet that those same Judges would NEVER pass this as a law. You can also bet there would be hundred's of thousand's of men who would loudly protest. The laws should be equal for women & men. Plus what are these same Judges going to ensure that American men take care of the children they have already created? How many single women are out there financialy taking care of their chilren but the men of those same children are not forced to actually pay the child support they are required to pay.

GOP: “We want as little government interference in our lives as possible.” Also GOP: “We support the government controlling people’s bodily autonomy.”

Okay Miss Collins call for those three people to be impeached. They lied under oath right? That seems like grounds for impeachment to me.

The GOP: “the party of freedom (and also taking away specific rights from certain groups)”

their evil intention to make abortion illegal was so shocking that one of the clerks or other staffers couldn't take it and risked their employment and professional future to bring this to the forefront.
