My ex wife, (born and raised in Ireland), is a member of the Kennedy family that stayed in Ireland. JFK came to visit when he was President, a few months before he was assassinated. That makes my son with her a Kennedy cousin. The family in Ireland are not wealthy or entitled, they’re regular, hard working, decent people.

I was a kid when Chappaquiddick happened. My dad (a staunch conservative) went on and on about Teddy’s wayward ways and how he should be held accountable for her death ☠️. I didn’t quite understand at the time. It was overshadowed by the Apollo landing (still have the newspaper and the Life magazine). What an eventful month.1969! Thanks Bailey, much love 💕 to you.

Omgosh Bailey! You mentioned Nickelodeon at the end of this episode… immediately my thoughts went to Quiet on Set documentary (which made me bawl my eyes out btw had to go wake my tot just so I could rock him back to sleep). Would love to see a dark history episode on Hollywood’s child actors. No guarantees for dry eyes.

Each time I listen to the new Kennedy episode I have more questions! I tend to repeat episodes so I don't miss anything. Anyway, there is one thing I must bring up and that is the controversy surrounding JFK's death. There are clips upon clips of it, but there's questions about a particular tree in these clips. Some show the full tree, some show half of the tree. I have not dug into this, but maybe if you are interested it would be a great part 2! Much love Bailey!❤

It’s crazy how much damage the Kennedies did to innocent people for to stay in power. I recommend listening to the audiobook ”Collateral Damage” by reporter Mark Shaw. Very enlightening of all their crimes behind the scenes.
