For those Googling, it's Nixie Gear. I like how you mix and match gear. Shows you don't have to spend the $$ to get a useable kit.

Nice. I use a M56 harness with just a Condor gun belt joined together with paracord. I wear it low like the Britt’s, easy to put on a pack if needs be on the fly. I run mostly MOLLE pouches on it. I use a large SAW pouch instead of a buttpack. I also use 2 GP pouches, one for robust IFAK with two Turniquets, the other with a complete GI natick Stove / Canteen, cup, and spoon. I use a dual side by side mag pouch with flap covers ( 4 mags) and a single pouch that can hold 3 mags for more ammo ready to hand or for a squad radio. And an extra 200 rd sized SAW pouch. Which can fit different items like mil poncho, gortex top, thin fleece top, or squad ammo or smoke. If I need more water I use a collapsible drink pouch and put where ever it is convenient or I can run a small assault pack with bladder. Your set up is one of the best I’ve seen. I don’t like having a buttpack being overfilled or too heavy when running or rolling over on the ground to another position or crawling under something. Just me.
  • Nice rig! But since you have the space in the Butt Pack, I’d toss in a Woobie in the Storm Collar. That gives you something to sleep in. The Poncho gives you something to sleep under, while the Grabber gives you something to sleep on. Oh, I’d add an extra GI Cup to the Nalgene Canteen. That way you could drink a cup of coffee in one while eating what ever you cooked in the other. Hope this helps.

Yeah, people poo poo the condor gear, I have used it for a long time and never had any problems with it. I have a similar blet set up and the same belt, I use during deer season, exploring etcetera. I have had it since 2012....hardly any wear on it. It goes really good with the Condor venture pack too. Kind of all fits together.

I love my Condor gear, have been using it extensively for more than 15 years without fail. MCR5 chest rig, the hydration bladder strap replacement combo, battle belts, plate carriers.
  • I think Condor makes a hydration pack that may attach to your H harness. Check 'em out!

Well thought out setup with purpose & function.

Good evening Sir!! Great video and great setup! The important thing is that it works well for you and your needs! Great stuff, looking forward to more! Take care!!!

Put a 2 qt.on that pad between your shoulders and attach the canteen straw to that.
  • I love the Condor hydration pack, with the H harness replacement straps, and the Condor T&T pouch for the chest setup.

Ironically, I have literally the same setup with my condor harness and nixiework buttpack. It’s just in Muilticam. I also have the Nixieworks LFR, and I use it more than this one. Minus kit components it’s cool to see I’m not the only one that did this. I’m active Army and I’ve come to appreciate LBE setups as a medic. Not a high speed direct action operator so the small belt setups don’t sustain my mission. Nice kit.
  • I've started working on a setup similar to yours, using most of my OLD LBE gear from the 90's when I was in the army. I like the belt/ harness on yours better than the old LBE setup. Ironically, I have been thinking about a chest pack from Hll People gear to go along with it. Awesome job in putting that thing together
  • Does this sleep pad make my butt pack look big? Great ideas. Thanks for the video!
  • @davidwright5580
It was awesome video on your patrol gear and I can't wait to see your new video's and your video with the modern minut man was awesome
  • @fattiewestside
The chest pouch/ admin pouch is very similar to how I had my original LBE set up with. I have since changed it slightly. Definitely check it out when it uploads, I think you'll like it.

I'll bet you could probably a USGI 2 qrt canteen in a MOLLE pouch on your back panel.
