Rosa quits. Wow! This is the same detective who suggested police brutality to a kid in season 1.

Scully having crucial intel, I'm happy I saw this, letting the big guy be important and vital for a change.

Nooooo Rosa! I feel like everything is just gonna fall apart this season, Kevin and Holt Separate, Covid, now Rosa's leaving? There's going to be a lot of sadness.
  • I didn't expect this season to be so emotional in the first two episodes

Man this episode was heartwrenching to watch. Definitely one of the heavier hearted episodes šŸ˜”
  • Agree with the message or not, the show is riddled with tonal inconsistencies. Moments like this fall flat when you've seen the characters break protocol for the sake of comedy in early seasons.
  • PAINNN The first episode was a roller coaster and so different from the rest of the show... Holt and KevinšŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

My gosh....it like the Moo-moo accident all over again. Only this time, the police actually do it worst. No wonder that Rosa want to quit

Im sometimes frightened at the genius of the B99 writing team. It balances dark, serious topics with some lighthearted fun without feeling like tonal whiplash. They put topical themes about police and biases without it feeling forced. And they managed to do this for 8 seasons without EVER having a dip in quality.

This season is a perfect mix of comedy and drama! Due to it being the final season as well, it makes sense for it to have heavier moments, it's very fitting and it's good of them to discuss these issues. It's a brilliant season. I'll be really sad when it's no more.

I really liked how they incorporated the whole real life police scenario and BLM issue into the first episode. Itā€™s in character for Rosa to do this and the tension is so similar to real life itā€™s pretty disheartening how disgusting some officers can be and the way the episode ended was pretty heavy to, probably my second favourite episode of the season
  • Can't say I blame her, the worst part about this whole thing is that the innocent police officers that legamently want to help suffer.

Rosa quit holt and Kevin broke up and Hitchcock left in the FIRST TWO DAMN EPISODES
  • @draconuuse9731
Wait. Heā€™s talking to bob. Man. Kelso and him are really still best friends.
  • Guys the very first episode of this show dealt with the difficulties a gay black police officer went through to rise up the ranks. If you say B99 is too ā€œpoliticalā€ now you are blind. Good on this show for tackling serious issues.
  • @SiHodges
I'm sorry, John C. McGinley just said Bob at the end. Now I'm imagining this is a spin-off where Cox killed JD and joined the police force to cover his tracks, and Kelso's in on it too
  • Jesus this season is going to hit hard Hitchcockā€™s gone, Holt and Kevin separated, Scully is competent Shitā€™s crazy

"This isn't about you!" For real. Like, I get why not poc get defensive. I am sure it hurts to always be seen as the enemy. Like it hurts to most man to be seen as a enemy, even thought you never did anything wrong But trying to prove you are not like them, doesn't help. The issue is not about you. And the first step to be a ally is recognize that and support victims without trying to make you seen like the hero. Woman, poc, I don't know if we want someone to prove that "not everyone is like that". We want change. We want a difference
