When the pilot light goes out and won't stay lit when trying to re-light it, that is usually a thermocouple issue. In this case, rather than replacing the thermocouple, I just need to clean it from the growth of spider eggs, cobwebs, and filth that accumulated on the pilot assembly over the summer.

  • Scotty you're a life saver! I guess my boiler is so old that I couldn't find a video where the burners even looked the same! Your calm demeanor helped me feel safe working on it. Thank You!

HI, Scotty, that`s a real oldy, Gass for heating the warm weather is well old fashion probably, here In Norway uses electrical boilers very efficient but it may be a little expensive. We had the same when I lived in The Netherland in Amsterdam Monnickendam and Middenmeer, in the North of the Netherlands. There we used gas for shower dish wash and more, now for the time being the Government presses the Dutch and other habitats to switch over to electric systems who the have to pay for themself, All that course these who believe in a Climate crisis. So my friend use gas as long it`s permitted by the Politics and Government. you did a great inventive work with that old boilerđŸ‘đŸ». Greetings from Hubertus, Larvik Norway🇳🇮☼🙏
