Wise words my friend. Awful times. Don’t give up hope, humankind is generally good and we are in the majority. We must not let pure evil and hate win. Be safe.

Amen. brother. You're a good man, Irv. Stay safe, do what you can to help make the world a better place, and if you get a chance, keep us posted. But first and foremost, keep your eyes lifted towards Heaven and know that God is still in control, and He knows what He's doing, even if we can't figure it out. Shalom from a fellow old man.

Well said and very balanced and compassionate. You are one of the few haredim who actually reaches outside the bubble and has a job, friends and interests in the real world. If all fundamentalists were like you there would be no war

Oh Lord of Moses, help your servants against the oppressors wherever they be, whoever they are.

In fact if you look at the difference between good acts and evil acts, evil has to be big and flashy to have an impact. Good acts can be small to change the world. And it doesn't need headlines to be rewarding to the doer.  This anecdote is nowhere on the same scales as what you are dealing with, but it's timely to be because it just happend. My son this morning was asking about a car with a loud exhaust. And I had to explain that some people are just jerks. They try to make their impact on the world by showing they have power. And a lot of low-level jerks have pretty petty ways of expressing power. What I didn't tell him was that jerks are not content with small acts of annoyance. They ratchet things up and ratchet things up until they make the world miserable for everyone. Evil doers are only stopped when they are convinced there is nothing more to be gained from their ways. Be it a traffic ticket, being fired from their job, or being sent off to prison. What I love about your channel is that you show people that we can change the world around us in constructive ways. "Tech" could very well be making meals, or finding ways of keeping children occupied. Cooking takes primordial ingredients and turns them to food. Amusement is taking time and shaping it into joy instead of boredom. Thanks for making the world better by being here, even if you have to "be here" off camera for a bit.

powerful message, hope you help as much as you can to mitigate this tragedy of both sides.

We pray for peace as well. May God be with you, your family and all of Israel at this horrific time. May God also be with the innocent Gazans. Good will triumph over evil. Thank you for all you do.

When I saw the news that day I remembered that you had family in Israel and stopped to pray for you and your family (not knowing you were also there). Stay safe and thank you for this message.
