You are wrong about Terminator Dark Fate It would have been better to scrap the whole movie
  • The opening of Dune is classic, even if it wasn't the director's intention
  • @Zombiesnyder13
People shouldn't blame Tim Miller for the failure of "Terminator: Dark Fate" He was the director, not the writer Killing John Connor was James Cameron's idea
  • @Vim-Wolf
Frankly I could sit and watch Virginia Madsen for hours.

The John Wick 4 scene was actually very important for the character.
  • The cartoonish sound as he fell down. The smokestack is what sold me on this film. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Thing and the Predator both have a scene where you see something coming from outer space. Could never figure out why? Just leave the viewing public to work it out, rather than give the game away from the off.

if you cant follow a plot point of a film like john wick 4 maybe you shouldnt be doing this stuff.

Ironically, when I saw Dark City, we missed the first five or six minutes which gave all that away lol.
  • For Your Eyes Only????? That was classic Moore Bond. I love the more serious tone of FYEO, and its one of the best Moore outings. But that opening tied it nicely in with the rest of his series. One of the best. Strong disagree.

Peter Parker's parents picked a peck of pickled pepper.

As fun and heartfelt as A Goofy Movie, I could’ve honestly done without that opening nightmare sequence of Max transforming into his dad. It would’ve been better to have instead opened with a montage of Goofy and Max’s history together showcasing their bond over the years from Max’s birth, to his early childhood, to his preteen life seen in the series Goof Troop to his age of 14 in the film and at the same time showing the change that occurs simultaneously in their bond as Max starts to grow more independent and serving as the bridge between Goof Troop and A Goofy Movie.

The best supervillain is either Savitar or Sebastian Shaw

The director’s cut of Dark City is much better. In the top five of my favorite films. Still a great film with the theatrical opening.
  • Best superhero villain is actually David Tennant as Kilgrave in the Jessica Jones series.

I don’t know why, but the opening scene of sixth sense where Bruce Willis is shot always bothers me. It’s almost as it’s only there to confirm the twist at the end. I think it would add to the mystery of who he was and how he died if they scrapped the beginning scene.
  • Somebody missed the ENTIRE point of the opening scene of "For Your Eyes Only". The film was made shortly after the legal resolution of the cases about the ownership of Blofeld and SPECTRE. As a result there was an imminent non-EON Bond film (Never Say Never Again) featuring Blofeld on the horizon. The scene was a big middle finger to the legal ruling and Kevin McClory and the goofiness was part of the point. It was perfect...no notes.

Peter Parker's parents on a private plan is a killer tongue twister.

You know I love Lord of the Rings Return of the King. But the opening was originally supposed to be in The Two Towers and I kinda felt that’s where it should’ve stayed. In the scene where Frodo first calls Gollum by his name Sméagol Gollum looks stunned and asks What did you call me? Not long after, there’s a pause and Gollum looks like he’s about to remember something-that’s the point where ROTK’s opening sequence was supposed to come-and it would’ve made much more sense if it stayed there. It just seems out of place at the beginning of ROTK.

Dune 1984 is a great movie.
