I remember the ocelot was the best thing ever. I was too young to understand updates and checking the webs, so one day I would go onto Minecraft and find new animals and things, it was awesome

I remember when horses were added to Minecraft. I'm pretty sure that was the first major update I was actually aware of when I started playing. It's crazy how much has been added since then.

This is just showing me how skewed my view of minecraft updates is. Mention two things in a single update i thought were years apart - something i never remembered not being in the game and another thing i remember being new.

This is actually quite useful for someone like me who used to play minecraft in the early 2010's then took a huge gap of not playing until semi-recently. So there's soooo much stuff I don't know about, most useful thing I learned: I don't need to double tap W to sprint 🙃I've only put about 30 hrs into my current gameplay doing it the old way....

i started in version alpha v1.1.2_01, some of the ways that the game is spoken about really makes me feel old, and unhappy because i really liked a lot of the updates back then as they were. people take a lot of stuff in the newer versions for granted it seems. i guess it's the curse of knowing what came before too well.

Lizzie's tree house gives me so much nostalgia, like literally everyone made treehouses when they first started playing minecraft (although mine didn't look nearly as good as hers haha)

As someone that has played since 1.0 and even had the opportunity to play the Beta seeing all of this brought back memories. I Remember when Zombies dropped feathers.

Took me a few minutes of confusion to realize “changing the version everyday” meant every mc day and not every irl day, which honestly gives you more time to notice each update
