He was adorable. The world lost so much when that plane went down :(

I just discovered The Big Bopper near the end of 2023, but this man easily brings a smile to my face. The world missed out on several good souls on that fateful day. RIP.
-
The Big Bopper is majorly underrated.
-
Anyone listening in 2023...these legends will never die..

R.I.P. Remembering the 3 bright stars that went out on 3rd Feb 1959.
-
I was in Junior High when they announced over the intercom telling us about the plane crash. Such a sad feeling.
-
This was one of the songs my grandpa loved to sing. Now that he’s passed every time I hear it, it makes me think of him! What a great song!

RIP The Big Bopper (October 24, 1930 – February 3, 1959), aged 28 You will be remembered as a legend.
-
So very talented. As were Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly. The world lost three brilliant musicians that day. Men who had decades of fantastic music ahead of them. May they all rest in peace. :(
-
Just this guy's stage name is the ultimate portal to that time period.
-
Ive been jamming to Buddy Holly Big Bopper And Ritchie Valens all week long, I mean I’ve always listened to their songs. But this week I’ve been so depressed and their songs just bring me peace.
-
Still appreciate the tremendous talent of this guy. Legendary performer and never forgotten in the hearts of Rock n Roll fans ❤️
-
Rest in Peace, Big Bopper. Your music is still appreciated nearly 60 years after your passing.

His songs could always put a smile on your face

Just found this video last week yet I've watched it at least 50 times already. It's amazing how times have changed just by looking at the audience. Looks like it could be a talent show from Grease. So nostalgic, and I wasn't even born yet. RIP Big Bobber. Great stuff!!!

The first booty call song to become a hit

you know something magical about the internet is that... I am a south american guy, who never went to the usa, was born in 1989, and only now in 2017, 28 yo, almost 60 years after this accident... was listening american 50's rock n roll on spotify and reading about the names... when I read about them, I felt like it's just happened... I feel bad like someone reading the newspaper that day :( may them RIP, and thank you Buddy Holly, Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens for these music, so I don't have to listen to todays shit...

60 years ago this young man lost his life. He left this song and others behind as well as a wife and two children who never knew him. Thanks Bopper for the music and this song. They say it was the day the music died. No you, Richie and Buddy died, but the music still lives and thought the music you do too.
-
All three of them, Buddy Holly Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper instantly lost the brightest of musical futures.
