  • "Do i like war thunder?" Yes, thats why i spent 2 hours on US flight map looking for all the airfields

I've realised that in this game, if you are having fun, someone is suffering and vicebersa...

This new battle pass season looks so uninteresting and bad that I’ve decided to take a break, play through those other games I picked up during the summer sale
  • @Vergil20000
It actually depends. I once used to play games so badly like morning till midnight. But now I can only play 1 to 5 matches in War Thunder or play less than an hour in other games and sometimes I just stare at my PC screen wondering what I would do. I have 3000 hours in Dota 2, 2000 hours in War Thunder, 1000 hours in Hearts of Iron 4, 500 hours in Transport Fever 2, 400 hours in Cities Skylines and 1000 hours in Mir4. Playing any games you like will eventually wear you down to the point you no longer want to play games. Now I only watch movies, play a little and browse the internet in my PC.

"Because they're not physically or mentally right when it comes to the rest of their lives"... Damn. That one felt personal.
  • @Joey_Liu
Choosing to stop or take a break from War Thunder is arguably the hardest thing in life.
  • @bigmack16
Warthunder is my crack cocaine.....dont judge me but ive pit a little over 6k into this game on premiums and ultra rares
  • @mellowroot714
I observe the stimulus screen, I press the response bar, I receive my juice reward.
  • As Old Guard for Warthunder, I've been playing... 11 years, and took one prolonged break when I got bad about it maybe halfway through that. It's not problematic. I'm a parent a maybe squeeze in a match or two a night time permitting. I probably put about a hundred bucks a year into it, usually premium time and rarely a gimmicky premium if its on sale. War thunder has a loop that is made to hook you, like any MMO. But having your RL sorted out will make you feel better hundredfold, and you can focus on just enjoying the game for hahah tank go brrr. Recently started on spading all my low rank stuff I mostly skipped over way back when I started playing and have been having a blast tbf. Good vid on the topic EC.
  • @ZigaZagu
This is my 4th day not playing War Thunder in like... 3 months. It's helping.
  • 5:20 onward is very true. Anything that makes you feel not in control, when you already don't feel in control in life, leads to anger/upset. When you have anger issues especially. You need to breath.
  • @CoolLink-Zelda
I never thought i would get en existancial crisis from a WarThunder video. I will have to fight my inner demons eventually
  • @Knifedog-
I only pay for premium once a year when it's on sale
  • I found that Drawing is a great alternative to War Thunder... it's fun and I don't think about if I have to research this and that...I just put my pencil down on the paper and just draw something I have in my imagination.

After almost 3-4 months without playing War Thunder, yesterday I got back to participate in the Flight of the Albatross Event. In my 6th battle, due to Bad Server Connection, I was kicked out of the game while I was doing very well. I was the 2nd player in my team even though up-tiered almost by all. That was when I realised why I had left the game.
  • For a second I thought you lost it lmao I thought you were the one saying it was an addiction
