  • As a Malaysian, it was always interesting to me that our passports said 'travel to all countries except Israel' and those who wish to go there usually need to go via an illegal detour so that you wont attain a stamp on your passport

Just a correction about the Somaliland thing, it was recognised for those five days and is still recognised today by these countries : China, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Ghana, Israel, Libya and the Soviet Union when it existed. Oh and you know one thing I find crazy about Somalia and Somaliland, is that they're both allies with both North AND South Korea, which I find slightly crazy.

If you are a person with normal judgment, you will definitely be surprised by the actions of the Bhutanese government. If you are interested in knowing something in-depth because of this, check out the treaty signed between India and Bhutan in 1947. This will help you understand why such a small country does not recognize China, and see how Bhutan's diplomatic rights are restricted by India

Considering that Vatican City considers the ROC as a country and it's the head of Catholic church while having more than 1.3 billion believers world wide, so... more than 1.3 billion people on this planet recognises ROC as a country, now that's a lot!
