One of the hottest categories to enter at the Oregon State Fair is table setting. Twenty competitors create “tablescapes” to theme, designing a menu and place settings for two. They painstakingly measure their utensil spacings, arrange their floral centerpieces and polish their candlesticks all for the glory of winning a blue ribbon – or the coveted Best in Show.
