Ok, none of these people should be harassed, but naming your cough medicine after the guy is legendary
  • @cartographic.
imagine someone in the crowd had allergies and completely messed up his entire plan just by coughing 😂
  • I really hate how abusive and violent some people get over things that have nothing to do with them. So these three people probably tried to scam a million out of a TV show - does that mean you're entitled to kill their cat, throw vomit at and smash their windows, force them out of their jobs and schools? Get a life!
  • @vitoc8454
Possible the most legendary episode was when a guy named John Carpenter competed. At the start, people booed him when he said he worked for the IRS. He got to the 1 million dollar question without using any lifelines, and on the final question he used Phone A Friend... to call his dad and tell him he was gonna win because he already knew the answer. Absolute legend.
  • @ventiqx.1070
that 1 million question is the easiest i have ever seen lmao
  • @nerdbot4446
That was the most brilliant sponsor integration I've seen a while
  • @eshnd.
"He had to trademark his name to stop a company from naming cough medicine after him" 💀
  • @BryRod
Seriously, They killed his cat? Quite sad some would hurt an innocent animal over this.
  • @TomSistermans
I mean, someone shooting the cat with an airgun is the most unacceptable thing ever, whomever did that can rot in hell... But the cough drops company naming their products after them is absolutely hilarious
  • @felixw19
0:56 in English, they are called "lifelines" not "jokers" like in the German version
  • @Marseb574
Another plausible answer to this mystery could be that every single question was relatable to a specific event in this poor man’s life.
  • @WaterChamp2
How you integrated the sponsor was BRILLIANT 😂 first time in a very long time I've seen that type of creativity
  • @x_kells_o4249
This has to be the worst thing to have happened in September, 2001.
  • @rocko34
10:47 as a Brit who is fluent in “Bri’ish” I can confirm the [inaudible] statement is “I’m absolutely gobsmacked” 😂
  • @Appfel
Wow! After knowing the Simpli video (and I watched it once more today), this is a nice add. I thought, it is another copy, which is fine. But no, this video is totally different, showing several other and new facets! Really good job!!!
  • @phantom9805
Plot twist : Sound engineers added the coughs later to deny his prize
  • @nitolak2873
September 9th 2001? eh, the next tuesday is gonna be crazy
  • @philipjohn1254
It was a clever plan in a way, but the execution of it was piss poor. By dismissing answers, and then having to backtrack, he just made it so obvious he was cheating. And by going back for confirmatory coughs he just made it even worse.
  • @killerkeks8843
Amazing video with amazing animation and a brilliant theme. Hyped for the next one.
  • Fern, the way you did the ad was truly brilliant! 😊 I love your work!
