There were some rash challenges from the Germans, especially on their left wing in the first half. I remember that first goal by Klinsmann, one of the best of the tournament. The German keeper (Illgner?) had a few wobbly moments when dealing with high balls. The South Koreans did well to almost get a draw and their second was a peach, but one might assess a lot of the first half chances they made where the eventual shooter should have passed to better placed team mates; South Korea could have had a famous win over Germany.

Die Südkoreaner wurden allgemein schlechter dargestellt, als wie sie wirklich waren. Gegen Spanien zeigte dieser Gegner auch Moral, kam nach einem 0:2 zurück und errang am Ende ein 2:2! In diesem Spiel hier, sauste der Ball an den deutschen Pfosten und Illgner hatte auch einiges zu tun! Glück gehabt, Deutschland! Südkorea hätte es ebenso verdient gehabt. 👍⚽️
