Learn about the Command Center in the 2012 Fisker Karma

The focus for us was to integrate a lot of functions in a big touch panel, and you operate the car through . The challenge we had was how to take all that functionality and just place it in a very clean, pure design. By having a high-resolution screens driven by beautiful graphics that give touch feedback in additional to the visual feedback and audio feedback we have created something that is beautiful and functional.

The screen is nice, but needs better use of color (because it can be hard to see in glare-y conditions). The software is still very "dot-zero" release: the nav and ipod screens can crash or hang and response is slower than it should be. I'm sure those will be improved soon. I think customizability of the speedometer/clock/etc display would be good too. In particular I'd like to be able to swap out the clock for digital speed readout even in stealth mode. Custom gauge colors would be a plus!

Fisker, you did a nice made using "lost" woods in this car, and not live trees. Consider not using live animals components in your projects too.
