I live in downtown San Antonio. Love being able to walk to the river walk in the mornings when it's calm and quiet or in the evening for a night out.

San Antonio can be a very “touristy “ city but there are many other places that are worth visiting. The Briscoe Western Art Museum has many Remington and Russell works as well as others. Very worth a visit. And the McNay is a world class museum. The King William district has great restored old homes and has a good walking tour. The Tobin Center is a great performance venue. Whenever I go to visit my friends who live in Alamo Heights they always introduce me to cool out of the way places.

My husband and I just returned from the mighty 5 in Utah. I followed your and pop’s adventures. Did an easy hike in all five. Loved the donuts at the pink rock shop on 89, and you’re right! The IDK barbecue was outstanding. Thanks for the inspiration. I saw the Alamo when I was 12, so time for another visit. I love your adventures. Thank you!

The light show on San Fernando Cathedral is really cool. We went between Christmas & New Years & the lights were pretty along the river walk.

My son and I had lunch at Rosario's several years ago. It was great then and I am glad to hear that it is still top notch!

Your videos are always so well documented, thought out, and presented, time after time. I have never been to San Antonio. I think I'll have to do something about that. I've always wanted to see the Alamo. excellent, as always 🤠👏👏
  • I think it would be fun if both you and Pops put together your own top 10 lists of BBQ places you visited on this trip. See what is the same and what is different.

Nice! Been to SA a couple of times and the Riverwalk is one of my favorite public spaces in the entire U.S. Unique and delightful.

Thank you for sharing! As a youth I would spend time downtown. 2003 - 2009 worked downtown. In April, there's parades, carnival all kinds of food vendors. Food yummy at Rosario's, chicken enchiladas Verdes. It was nice to see you, Dad. God bless you, family.

I enjoy your videos so much! We're heading here at the end of October, so this was very helpful. We watched many of your PCH videos before our trip there and found them very informative and actually used many of your recommendations. Keep filming!
