We also love SDI because they let Charles get away with the things he says in every video.

My father was on a hill top in Vietnam in 68-69. He said they heard this incredible sound right over their heads. Come to find out the Battleship New Jersey was firing those 16 inch shells at something and the shells were going about 50 foot over the top of the hill or mountain they were on. I couldn’t imagine what that was like.
  • The thing that is most remarkable about Charlie is that no matter what you think he is about to say, whatever actually comes out his mouth is so off the wall it will always catch me off guard and that makes me laugh.

All I could think about is how horrible it would have been to find out you’ve sat down on a nest of fire ants while admin is mag dumping rounds over your heads.

Those Blackout rounds really are scary. Not only won't you ever hear the bullet, your buddies won't either. They just hear a thud, notice you on the ground, and then briefly wonder whether you had a face before or if you always looked like that.

You can tell how quiet that 300 really is when you hear a fly buzzing 5x as loud… that’s crazy

I would pay real money to watch a 2.5 hours documentary or an 8-10 episodes miniseries with these 4 dudes. 1 idea: 5 day camping/survival training documentary.

It's nice to see a proud dad and his two special kids at the range having fun, sending positive vibes and prayers to you GT, be strong!

Charlie coming out of left field with "Self-Deleting Italians" and "there are no Italians left😂 Making Garand and Micah laugh are always hilarious, especially when you make the cameraman laugh so hard it impairs his cameraman duties.🤣

Imagine attaching microphone directly to a ballistic gel dummy so we can hear directly what you hear when you get shot. Would that sound different? Wouldn't it be interesting to see what you can hear? :D
  • Charlie wakes up in a cold sweat, scrambles for the pen and notepad he keeps on his nightstand (under a gold rattle-canned HiPower .40) and scribbles down: “Skat Daddy Impersonators” Then collapses back to sleep.

I can't wait for the "What does it feel like to get shot by" series

Saying "I saw the bullet" like a kid at Disney seeing micky mouse for the first time and telling his friends was hilarious, great video as always!

The fact that the sound of a cough could cover the sound of a .300 black is terrifying 😨

I'm so glad Charlie was granted work release to get back on the channel. It's amazing to hear these rounds go by. Also, my hat is off to Admin for asking the question we've all been thinking.

This Administrative Results guy looks cool, I sure hope he starts a YouTube channel

An interesting test I saw awhile back — Someone was shooting a hog carcass with a suppressed .300; the impacts were very loud (120+dB). So, even if you couldn't hear the incoming round, you could hear the impacts. However, that also means the impacts would completely conceal the report.
  • I know this is a very specific bias, but hearing someone say "repeat" on the radio sets my teeth on edge and heightens my anxiety. I am an artilleryman. In artillery, the word "repeat" means "whatever you just shot, shoot the exact same thing again without checking for safety or verification." If we did not copy what someone said, we always always use "say again." It is so ingrained into us that we say it in face-to-face conversations and when dealing with civilians.
