Poor red, almost made me cry hearing the story about him regretting not being on film. Someone I know is exactly like that and he is like a role model to me, and he is getting old and it’s gonna be a sad day when he passes for me

Tom is the best. No one else would get these stories. This channel with Tom & the others is doing amazing work. Would love to see more follow up stories.

Tom Cotter is one dude on my list of people I’d like to have a beer with.

If it wasn't for these Hoarders. These cars would be lost forever. So God Bless them all! Hagerty does a great job finding these Barn finds. Then showing us there still out there. What great video's. During Covid 19 many of us have worked and stayed home. Getting the chance to escape just for a little while means alot to me! Shawn.

Tom, I bet you got calls and/or messages from many people who thought you had omitted one of your barn finds they thought should have been in your top 10. I have to say I have no idea how in the world you were able to single out 10 (or 11) barn finds you had done up until that time because each episode you have done, all of them, have just been great. And you are correct, it wasn't just the vehicle, but more importantly it was the life story attached to the vehicle that has made "The Barn Find Hunter" a world renowned award winning great to the very last moment series. Just when I think I have seen all of your broadcasts, along comes an episode I haven't seen, and it brings a smile to my face and a tug on the heart strings. I have thanked you many times in the past for what you have done and continue to do and I so hope the thank you term has not become mundane, because they are so real, and so meaningful. You have done so much for the car industry and for families across the world. You are so good at what you do, and you give out just enough encouragement to have a person trust you and tell their life story as it relates to their cars (or trucks/buses, anything with wheels on it). I look forward to hearing the next chapter in this wonderful story you are telling in an arena we've all spent time in. Bravo Tom! Bravo!
  • As an Aussie whom loves American cars, Tom's channel have become one of my favorites on Youtube. May we have many more to come.

Some people call them hoarders, and they are to a degree, but if it weren't for this sort of lifestyle we'd lose so much of automotive history. And Some of these cool cars will get restored or serve as templates and inspiration for retro based new projects. So a glass up to the forgotten hoarders, and a thank you from car lovers everywhere! Great episode Mr Cotter.

Rest In Peace Red!! I’ve seen every episode Tom and just love what you do my friend. God bless

I literally grew up in the back of a 1967 Ford Country Squire wagon. We drove across country in it twice, moving from coast to coast, as my father was a Navy pilot. But the car I miss most was our yellow 1972 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe. I learned to drive a stick at age 12 in that car and went on many a long drive with my Dad in it. He left us in 1975, but left the car behind. It sat for a year in disrepair and my Mom promised it to whomever could get it running. I was 13 when I got it running... and she gave it to my brother, who had a license. It later had an engine fire due to a lack of maintenance and was lost to me forever. I have continued to look for one over the years, but they are so hard to find.
  • Even though every episode is just a dream for an autohead like me watching somewhat 9000 miles away, you sir and your team puts every episode beautiful and inspiring.
    Huge respect!!!

Barn Find Hunter, Tom Cotter, Hagerty deliver the most quality content. I do not want it to ever end!

Tom . Absolutely top drawer ! It takes a special person to make strangers feel comfortable . You have that gift and we are fortunate and grateful to take advantage of your gift. Can't wait for life to return to normal and once again enjoy your video's. Thanks Tom.

From one car guy to another, I really like and can appreciate the show you all are producing. Hopefully with the YouTube generation it will plant some seeds of the fondness of old cars and the one off stories that can come with them. Keep the videos coming and keep the history alive.

Looking forward to when this virus situation is finished so we can see more of Tom and his wonderful travels on Barn Find Hunter.
  • I have to say...I'm so appreciative of Tom Cotter for bringing us these wonderful stories of regular people that maybe didn't realize they had a story to tell! Memories are made and remembered by the cars that people owned at the time. Thanks so much! To everyone included.
  • @samsonian
What a cool show. I haven’t missed an episode and don’t intend to. Mr. Cotter, so many of us as automotive enthusiasts owe you a debt for telling the stories we’d probably never see otherwise. Hagerty also deserves a big thanks in recognition for funding such a work of passion for old automotive history. There is so much to be learned about marques long gone and (for many not dreamt of even decades after their demise) the people that collect and cherish them. Thank you for slowing the disappearance of a certain flavor of America from memory.
  • @sln583
I couldn’t agree more with Tom, the stories are the best part of car appreciation. Most of us will never own all the cars we would love to, but we can all enjoy the stories about them.👍
  • @riwoof
Not a story about forgotten cars, but stories about special people that will always remember special cars even when most everyone else may have forgot. Thanks Tom for telling us these stories.
