Nevermind anyone's negative comments. You were a Mom doing the very best for your son. So sorry for your loss.I wish my son could turn his life around but All I can do is love him.

I’m 4 years clean now I overdosed twice from heroin I was on drugs for 19 years smh I’m so blessed and thankful that god never gave up on me
  • I was addicted to Dilaudid and Morphine for seven years following a lower spine reconstruction. Neither the pain management doctor who was prescribing these medications, nor my primary care provider, would help me get off of these drugs. Rehab was way too expensive, so I went to a place where I could be alone, and I went through the withdrawals by myself. It wasn’t fun. I’ve been clean for 26 months now. I feel her pain.

A mum that gets it and is spreading the message now by doing for others what she can no longer do for her son. May you find some peace

Addiction is so cruel to all it touches, those who are using and those who love them and all who have lost.
  • I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 8 and I can understand a lot of this story. Things can snowball downhill very quickly. It’s a life where you don’t get a single moment to sit back from fighting.

Im an opiate addict and its a terrible disease to live with. I live in a area where their isnt to many resources like inpatient drug rehabilitation centers. But their's county jails and prisons. God bless everyone out there struggling with family and friends in addiction.

    32. got hooked 10 years ago when i suddenly was diagnosed with cancer. I stopped taking everything 4 days ago. I still feel sick, but the worse thing for me right now is... I want to know if life will be fun again? I don't get pleasure doing anything im doing. it's depressing and makes me miss the drug. I only stopped because insurance did some prior authorization and I had to wait. so I just cancelled the order to see if I could do without it.

I am so glad I stumbled over here to your video. I lost my son 2 years ago the same way. You are spot on with the depression and also the availability of suboxone. My heart is full and I have too much to say to write it all down here.we struggled for twenty years and I now realize we needed professional help along with a more faith based approach.
