Had to totally edit over the first minute because of pesky copyright laws. Sorry.

The title says it all. A prior infantryman and current medic run some drills and then go over their gear in a very informal non scripted way, count how many times I say "plus up."

There is no one right way to set up your gear, but there are many wrong ways to do so. This kind of thing is a good exercise in shaking down your equipment and identifying strengths and weaknesses both in your kit and in yourself. My kit is by no means perfect, and I'm always messing and tweaking with it to try and make it better or fit different needs.

  • Good points on having the ability to have some access to light but reducing your signature as much as possible. We also think that is valuable and have been working on a solution that affords both. Can't wait to share it. Live Free. 🤙

great stuff! love watching these- in 30m you might pick up one or two small things you hadnt thought of before, but theyre really useful. all i can offer in return- battery compartments are needlessly expensive. instead of loose batteries, you can use electrical tape to hold them together in useable packs. just make sure to cover the ledes as well.
  • Damn good detailed video, perfect cinematic intro too! Looking forward to the next video
  • Good stuff gents! I will say that to save your hips, consider the ATS harness/ suspender for your belt, it really does help.

Off the chain video. Great music, great graphics. What a good job kept my attention the whole time let it roll. ❤️‍🔥✅🇺🇸💯❗️
  • Great video, loved starting with drills that are actually applicable in real life instead of LARPing garbage like most of youtube. Second, THANK YOU for starting with the rifle. TBH, that's what I came for. Glad to see some service members (active/ret/whatever) making content.

It’s great to see my bag get some footage man! 👊👊

Great video gents, would love to see a video going over what y'all usually keep in your rucks or just a review of how you like them. I currently use a hill people gear ute, their frame stay system is great for keeping weight off traps and most weight sits on your hips, the rest is distributed into your lumbar. However I've been looking into the exo mountain gear system so it was neat to see it during the intro.

Awesome video, gives people plenty to think about

Thanks for the vid, good stuff. The Surefire duel tail cap might be something to look at, has a button and input for a tail switch.

Brush up on cls or you’ll be an expensive loot drop.
  • So how have your adventures with the AVS been? I’ve been working with mine and have had trouble with it interfacing with a ruck as well. Some people have tried the micro harness, but that might defeat the purpose of the AVS in the first place. I’m being pushed into joining a light infantry regiment, so doing movement on foot is going to be something I’ll be doing a lot of.
  • Thumbs up for the Geissele Super Duty. I started using them a couple years ago and I don’t think I’ll ever use anything else.

Definitely looking into Private Security and this video came up. Amazing run-down. What branch were yall, if former/present military? I’m pickin up fellow Army 😂

A more in-depth discussion on Field medic equipment would be appreciated. Do you just carry Hemorrhage & penetrating trauma or do you carry a whole BLS/ALS set?
