Wow! Wow! Had to pause around minute 27:00 to write this comment. I was having a discussion with a friend who is in a difficult season of their faith, and he said he does not believe in Jesus, so when he prays he no longer mentions Jesus’ name and instead just goes straight to God. I’ve been chewing on this conversation for a few weeks because as JHP references, Jesus is our access to God. Since the garden, human beings have not had direct access to God without the threat of death, so to boldly think you can access God without Jesus overlooks the incredible mercy of God. That God allows him to believe it, say it, and continue to bless him has been overwhelming for me. That God can be so merciful really demonstrates how much his ways are not at all like ours.

God is the only independent being on earth. He doesn't need me to exist.... I need Him!!!!💯
