Britain's Darkest Taboos talk to the victims of convicted rapist and killer David. Subscribe to Our Life: bit.ly/3dBMxvl

Jaggers raped his sister Vicky when she was just 12 years old and as a result she gave birth to their daughter, Kirsty. She kept the rapes and the identity of Kirsty''s father a secret for 18 years until she went to police. During the 18 years of silence, Vicky's brother, David went on to kill his girlfriend Helen and also was convicted of other sexual offences against women before his arrest after a police siege in 2005. With never before seen exclusive footage of police interviews with Vicky about her ordeal and featuring an interview with the arresting officer in the case, we reveal a story almost too shocking to comprehend.

I don’t get it. When the police asked that woman if David could be the father of her 13 year old daughter’s baby she answers that she doesn’t know… so she acknowledges there’s a possibility but then has zero problem with him being around her granddaughter?! And he’s a murderer! Come on lady!!

The mothers actions are very disturbing. I feel so bad for Vicky.
  • @RaciePSB
He asks his mum if he can buy an air rifle to shoot at animals (abuse them) and she does. What a mother!

OMGOSH! Six years for killing an innocent woman and ruining 2 little girls’ lives and 6 months for destroying a girl’s life, to run CONCURRENTLY?!!!😡😡😡 Not to mention what he did to his own sister. If that’s the maximum sentence then laws most definitely need to be changed. Sentences that light send 2 messages; the victims don’t matter and the perpetrator can do it again because there’s very little consequence.

This is my story too. The exact way he abused her, my brother would abuse me. Her silence and fear. I was 7 when it started and 14 when I finally knew what it was called to even tell anyone. Please believe your kids/friends/family

I don't give a s*** how bad his childhood was. He made choices like we all do, and his choices were total s***. I can't believe how little punishment he got!! It's all so disgusting.

Sentencing in the UK is weak. He did horrible things he shouldn't be released ever.
  • He's not damaged, he's BROKEN, he can't be fixed, he will always be like this, he won't stop & he's NOT to be felt sorry for. He's a dangerous predator that had less than HALF of childhood trauma of people I know who are currently living happy productive loving, non-violent lives. The difference between damaged & broken.

Behind every psychopath/narcissist is a tribe of enabling family. I’ve seen it in my own family. I see it in this family.
  • 4 years is not even a slap on the wrist. 😮 Lock him up and throw away the key for the protection of society -- at least for the sake of Vicky and her daughters!
  • Why would you buy your child a rifle when he admits he wanted it to shoot animals with? And even worse when he had a violent behavior issue?
  • I am so glad she has such a loving and kind husband. She deserves the absolute best life!
  • What rock did the mom live under that, after her son murders someone, she lets him back in the home and has her granddaughters staying in the house with him? Her ignorance is astonishing.
  • @crmbaker
    Listening further...the mother WASN'T surprised. 😢 💔💔💔
  • The stepmother and dad of David knew something was wrong with him and did nothing to protect their daughter. His girlfriend would be alive today if his parents made him accountable.

When Tara said she couldn't remember her mom's voice, that hit me hard. That was one of my worst fears when my father died was that I would forget the sound of his voice, so I got into the habit of thinking of it every day so I wouldn't forget. It's been almost 14 years since he passed, but his voice is still in my head, happily rent free ❤❤

Dude gets 4 years for r@pe and murd3r. What kind of justice system is that?
  • Kelly is a lifesaver. What a great husband…. Those two sisters are so strong.
