I'm Japanese! All Japanese girls are good at cutting bangs. If I give advice to foreigners, ①Reduce the amount of hair. First of all, foreigners pick their hair too often. It's okay to be half-hearted. ② Do not pull! If you cut your hair while pulling it, it will be cut short, so hold it gently! ③ Do not cut too short from the beginning. Once you've reached the nose, use the scissors vertically and cut little by little! keep it up!

pro tips because ive been cutting random bangs on myself for a long time : 1. always start with less hair and dont cut too short then add more layers if you want your bangs thicker, the reason you shouldn't cut too much is because its better longer so you can style thek with curlers.2 always try to make the bangs IN THE MIDDLE part of your hair 3i don't know about this one but my bangs always look better when i dont cut them wet so i just leave them dry to see the real length of bangs 4 always ALWAYS look at the ways you can hide the bangs if you dont like them . thats all i cant remember any more

The first one was obviously a wig. Human hair does not look like that, and it doesn’t form that way when it’s cut.

Been cutting my bangs myself for years. Pro tip: do small amounts over multiple days. Everyone has a different hairline/cowlicks/way their hair grows. These tutorials online ain’t always it! Much love xo

a good piece of advice is to just never ever cut bangs shorter than your eyebrows, or longer than the tip of your nose. i don’t know if this is a common rule of thumb but i kinda just came up with it after cutting my own bangs for a year. and, bangs will look really bad for the first week that you have them. that’s because you cut your hair, so the ends are very blunt. just give it a week and the ends will grow slightly and look less straight.
