Jeremy Clarkson test drives the Aston Martin Vantage, with a V12 engine. In his own words, 'Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful'. Great review from series 13 of BBC's Top Gear.

2:16 "I just have this horrible, dreadful feeling that what I'm driving here, is an ending" And you have Brian Eno's "An Ending" playing in the background. That's so clever, fitting and beautiful...

This isn't a car review.... It's a work of art no other way to put it

I remember watching this aged 7, and it made me really emotional - And it gives me the same effect today at 17, and I have no idea why

2019. Still believe this is the single greatest piece of automotive media of the 21st century.

I bought one of these last summer. It's an absolute piece of art. 18,000 miles on the clock. I've watched this clip many times. Feel so blessed to own such an iconic car. Same colour.

This one of my favourite car reviews ever. Nothing will ever top this.

This film is one of the best I have ever seen from Top Gear. It might actually be the best small film I have ever seen. The film is not a film: it is just 3 minutes of art. The music, the imagery, the scenery: everything is perfect. I can see why they won a BAFTA for this series: this film alone is worthy of one.

The way they showed the pictures of the GT40, the Gallardo, the DB5 and the Veyrons really tells us how brilliant these massive engines were for the last 60 years or so.

As an American, I can't believe that the BBC would have ever replaced him. He got it and so did we across the pond. We followed him to Amazon and cried with him when he announced the format between host and audience was cancelled We all would have watched Jeremy, Richard and James until they were on life support

This one... This one was always different... It always got me...

13 years later and what Clarkson said is exactly true that not just cars but the world is changing so quickly and it’s terrifying
  • @renamamiya2023
That “Goodnight” at the end from Clarkson always gets me
  • @Norden1
You are a car person if this made you cry.. That what happened when I first saw it.. And I NEVER cry..
  • Jeremy may not be everyone's cup of tea but this right here is why Top Gear will fail without him.  You can't fake this kind of automotive journalism.

I am still awed by this beautiful production and cinematography. Jeremy is a lucky man to have had the opportunity to grace these roads in such a fine example of engineering, he doesn't even need to review or explain the car. The sound and visuals tell the story.

This is what I miss most about the revised trip only Grand Tour. These “soul of driving” pieces. Not the power tests, or the speed laps, or even the silly goofball pieces, but the pieces about the raw expression of driving a car.
