Christine Cornell, along with her colleagues Jane Rosenberg and Elizabeth Williams, have had dozens of opportunities to sketch Trump since he became the first former president to be arraigned on criminal charges last April, with Trump attending multiple days of his subsequent civil trials in New York.

The former president has pleaded not guilty to falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment his then-attorney Michael Cohen made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels just days before the 2016 presidential election.

The artist at Trump’s trial unfortunately ran out of orange pencils!😂

Trump might have the record for years between the first courtroom sketch, and the most recent.

My friend Jessica and I absolutely love Jane's sketches! We call her style Cezanne with attitude!! We might be her biggest fans. Thanks for the story and, Jane, for the beautiful sketches. I'm following the trial, but even if I wasn't, I'd follow the sketches!
  • I took an interest in looking at some courtroom sketches this morning & had to look further. WOW!!!!!!! Amazing sketches!!!!
  • @3goldfinger
What happens to the sketches after, do they get filed away.

Fascinating story… all about the art and the process… the subject is what the subject is, but it’s all about the mission of the art. I loved this story. I’m guessing these were hard pastels and pastel pencils…
  • @Albert-Mag...
Do you think he will keep wearing a suit and tie when he's rotting in prison???
  • GET THE GUY THAT SKETCHES PEOPLE ON THE SUBWAY..he is all over YouTube Facebook, etc...should be east to find.
  • @LazyIRanch
In that sketch at six seconds in, he's clearly sharting himself, proudly. He's grinning while everyone around him looks like they're about to be sick!

As an artist myself I feel these wonderful people are capturing the true essence of their subjects- not as they wish to present ;as they truly are-I’m sureTrump hates these sketches
  • You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear ……. 45 is proof of that.
  • @RDPendleton
It really bothers me that they all forget his clown make up.
  • I would love to be a sketch artist 🎨.... I have the skills but I don't have the opportunity.
  • They all have different style, and use it well to capture the orange evil one. I like it best when he does not appreciate their work. That makes them all great. Tough job they do well.
