As someone who's also 100% completed the event, I agree; Roblox cares more about the games that are popular than the games that want to put as much love in them as possible and the ACTUAL classic games; don't get me wrong, the developers for The Classic's games tried, but there are tons of other talented developers who could've made something a lot less tedious; I can imagine these spots were contested though

Games that should have been in the classic 1. Epic Minigames 2. Natural Disaster Survival 3. Murder Mystery 2 4. Work At A Pizza Place 5. Flood Escape 6. Theme Park Tycoon 2 edit: since everyone's been saying it: 7. Speed Run 4

Fun fact, I did manage to finish the bedwars mode solo easily. ..by letting the bed die and then making a platform over the void and waiting a solid 70mins for the penguins to essentially attempt to reach me each round, failing, and falling into the void. I tried even longer clearing it with other people, and figured this cheese method was the only way to get it over with. 0/10 for that trash fest

Thing is: ROBLOX feels "worse" because it's becoming more and more corporate and synthetized. You cannot feel the intention, response, effort, or human input through the ROBLOX platform anymore. Ever wonder why "Catalog" is now "Marketplace" and "Games" are now "Experiences"? They're shortening their own bridges from games to reality for the novelty, and the money. Edit: People keep replying about the fact that "Marketplace" and "Experiences" are about ROBLOX's lawsuits regarding its site. As if I don't know? And? And what? It changes nothing about my statement. The message is that greed empowers wrath, and wrath empowers greed. The past is home-made, the future is synthetized.

Bee swarm really did a good job with their event they took the game "Revenge of the slimes" a old popular game made by the same people who made build a boat and turned it into something really cool. The games that actually put a lot of effort in their game have my high respects Arsenal, A dusty trip, and bee swarm are all amazing

Whats funny is that BedWars penguin survival was literally also just completely reused code from their old gamemode from 2021 but they put studs on the blocks to make it "classic"

Funny thing about the adopt me tix, I was so bored waiting for the teapot that I found them all without a guide, because I literally had the time to check anywhere. By the time I was done the teapot wasn't even a teen...

The “new” Bedwars event is actually just a reuse of an event they had a few years ago, an exact copy with tix, it was also insanely hard back then. Me and my friend couldn’t to it, we basically had ptsd.

These reasons are why I didn't buy the gold track for either of these. It just goes to show that there's no point in trying when the fight in "The Classic" is just a buffed up zombie AI boss. edit: also i managed to do the bed wars quest alone (played with randoms instead of my friends) and i feel like i only got really lucky here

i completely agree with you. they hop on trends more than caring about what the really old members of the community want. which naturally makes sense bc at the end of the day they are trying to make the most money. you could obviously tell which selected games had actual effort put into them compared to others. for example doors was asked to particpate but they declined, not considered a classic game but being one of roblox's most popular games on its site it made sense. but if doors did accept im sure they would have made a fun and engaging classic event

Banger vid - the fact The Classic lobby still currently has 1k+ active players show how it easily is the best part of the event. Even after i 100%'d it, I stayed playing there for a bit, just having fun launching people into game portals, it's awesome. I hope there won't be that many of these events because don't really feel like doing one of these every 2-3 months; Egg Hunts being yearly made them a lot more special. Regarding the games, I'm surprised I did not find that many other people complaining about how most of them handled the Token / Tix system - to be honest the entire thing could've easily been about 50 badges total instead of 253/257 (the bling badges count torwards the number LOL). It's clear how there was no cohesion between the quests of the various games, with a lot of them just being tedious grinds. BTW, regarding 5:27; you AK collided with the killbot, making it turn so you ended up shooting yourself. Yeah, that can happen. It's stupid. (also the hiloh controversy was pretty much solved and i don't think that matters at all because the official roblox twitter account directly congratulated him for placing first in the other hunt)

Great video, I heavily agree with all the points you make about new events feeling rushed. Games are picked based on playtime and profitability rather than quality and theming. Also 1x1x1x1 being teased during rp2 nearly 4 years ago just for this event to end with a mediocre sword fight is awful You nailed the text to voice transition as well, great editing, and great content

I remember playing on a guest account in 2015, making my first account in 2016, losing that account and making another in 2018, forgetting the password and making the account i have today. I saw how the events roblox had has really changed.. i remember getting egg hats from games i didnt even know were part of it. and ngl i feel like the problems started to occur either after brick bronze's deletion or live-ops. most roblox games back then also had so much passion and effort put into them. now it feels like it's just super saturated and childish. it really pains to see how the platform changed for the worse.

it's crazy that since the introduction of LiveOps in May 16th, 2019 (Roblox's first attempt at developer-based events) they still have faced the same issues as the Classic: Hunt did
