For someone who mostly does industry style gameplay, this is also. I recently purchased a Vulture and a C1. Will go and try this now.
  • Ok, collecting RMC in station and eventually płacing in bigger cargo ship is great change. I cant wait to fill up my Raft with all of this small boxes.
  • Overall I like the idea of switching cargo from ship to ship. But I don't like the way CIG implemented it. Remember when we still had the "Hangar Module"? You could spawn multiple ships in one hangar. It would be much cooler, if you could just have your C1 in your hangar in addition to the Vulture. Return from salvage and land the Vulture right next to your C1 and directly move the boxes from salvage to cargo ship. Then do another run or just head off to sell. Might have even been easier to implement. Oh, and if I am not mistaken, you have to manually unload you C1 to freight elevator in Orison before you can sell, right. My guess is, that after the novelty wears off, most players will stop doing it, because they spend so much time just moving boxes around. (Unless they are into Tetris). Anyway, thanks for making the effort and showing us how it works.

Same sentiment as ea4857! Thanks for this great showcase on how cargo is going to work!
  • Thanks for taking the time to make this, to the point, video - well done. Subscribed.
  • @Luidgi509
Good Sir, thank you for making this video and explaining stuff nicely no fluff, I have subcribed and hope we meet in the verse o7

Thanks for the video. Star Citizen is now the time vampire, it continually sucks it away from you. Now you get to watch the elevator go up and down...slowly. I use Trawler heads on my vulture, as they are way quicker. You can get them at Orison when you do the 30 minute time suck to sell off your loads. :) I will subscribe until you point a camera at yourself while you play.
  • Thats true i did en 2 hours of salvage, 800K. In 3.24, vulture, c1, msr, raft, corsair are the must have ships, and to finish, the C2.

Thanks for the video and i am looking forward for 3.24 soon. However for me Grim Hex is way to dangerous a site to take cargo to. My message is directed at newer players. Just be careful.

I use two Abrade scrapers because the broader scrape area also grabs better in between narrow spaces. The 90% scrape of the Cinch seems nice but is tedious work with no perfect 0% end results. Panel scraping... it is lame. It is cheap but has no love to the original game loop. The cargo in certain ships make up to the front cost of contracts.

Did anyone done anything with mining/refining in 3.24? I've got a feeling that you can't even detach Prospector saddlebags on ground, as there's too little space : )
  • Do you think there's enough edge space in the large hangar to keep vehicles/XS ships? I see everyone doing it on the XL hangar
  • @wezzy1983
What im confused about is... is your personal hanger in one location for example do i get to choose where it is or is it just there everytime i land on a station or planet?
  • @David-Kynaston
Good to know. Thanks. Is this how people now unload a full C2 or Cat now??? I only ask because I've been out of the loop for a while.
  • I cant try it out by myself (no acess to wave 1) so I have to ask you: Can you buy an empty container 8scu or even larger, and load the 1scu container into the bigger one? It should work but I have not seen someone trying it on youtube.
  • @RED--01
idk if is the same hangar as mine.. I THINK my hangar is bigger.. i got an Idris.. I have to RUN A LOT!
  • @Antorsj
Can you ask for different SCU boxes? For example, you stored 1scu boxes, let's say you have 24 of them. Can you ask for 1 x 24 SCU box? Instead of 24 x 1 SCU (witch will take way more time to manage).
