Man I use to cry when I younger getting my hair done was tender headed still is

I most definitely wet my baby’s hair and I use conditioner or I’ll mix the two using warm water, thick conditioner and olive oil. Shake it up in a spray bottle. If you need to let it sit then do so but be sure to cover the hair with a shower cap or grocery bag for like 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes. It’s up to y’all. Hair days is just one of those mandatory days where you’ll have to make sure you have nothing to do for that day or two. Let the second day be the day to catch up on other self love type things. I don’t know how I found this video, but my little man with 4C has been having a hard time at the barbershop and I’m grateful for this video. His barber’s been telling him to stop whining, but now I know better and he’s just a tender headed kid. Thank you and thank you for some of the tips I’ll do at home.

This is so awesome. A lot of stylists and moms only know one way....yank and pull. I swear we have to do better. It shouldn't be painful. There are so many better ways to detangle and comb.

Thanks for sharing. I'm absolutely NOT tender headed, but I feel like stylists take advantage of that and actually pull more hair out during the detangling process. I now wash, detangel, and blow dry my own hair before before going to a stylist.

I wish my hairdresser actually talked to me and saw how I was feeling and try to comfort me instead of not talking at all and just wanted to get my hair done I mean I know you want to finish my hair already but still but this video is kinda comforting so thanks for that -Coming from a tenderheaded client

I used to cry a lot as a child getting my hair done, then ended up getting relaxers cause of how bad it was, and now that I have a full head of natural hair again, I want to take care of it better. I’m 14 😂I now of my own hair cause I am horribly tinder headed. Never got used to it. And people still ask why I haven’t gotten used to it.
