i love how he prioritizes the victims, remembers their names and their stories. i feel like most of the time the murderers are the ones that are talked about way more than the victims.
  • What a genuinely nice guy! Could listen to him talk for hours. Can tell he’s so proud of his career
  • I am humbled by Mr Swindle. I was a detective in the Met and retired in the early 1990's, and I had forgotten that there were men like him. In the last few years I have been embarrassed and furious and ashamed at the way police have behaved. Thank you for your professionalism Mr Swindle.

Thank heavens for people like this gentleman. His eyes looked so sad at beginning, the things he must have seen over his career. Grateful for his service 🇬🇧

I could listen to David Swindle for hours. He's so respectful, knowledgeable and interesting. You can tell that his work was a life's calling, a vocation. I wish he'd do a podcast with some other former/retired SIO's and Forensic investigators. He comes across as a throughly decent bloke.I wish him all the best Great interview, thanks.

The police get a lot of bad press… it’s people like you that remind the rest of us that we’re blessed to have officers like you solving the horrendous crimes the rest of us do. Excellent interview and great insight.

What a brilliant honest detective. You will be sincerely missed by your colleges now you have retired. Thank you for catching those evil monsters who should have hanged for what they had done to them poor innocent girls. My heart goes out to those innocent young girls and their families. Thank you again.

Watching from New Zealand it doesn’t surprise me David was such a great detective. His memory of dates and names and instances is razor sharp and his compassion and determination for the family shines out of him. What a brilliant career.

I've watched his show at the theatre. Really informative and fascinating insight into his career catching serial killers. The stuff he told about Peter Tobin made you feel sick!
  • Thank God there are people born with such passions, to work in those fields, for the benefit of society *My heroes are not celebrities or sportsmen, but people like this gentleman, dealing with such tough jobs.
