Bring a Calvinist myself, I do not condone hyper-calvinism. Putting Arminianism on the same level as the prosperity gospel is more than questionable. You tend to go in the same direction as “Doctrinal Watchdog”. Instead of dividing over minor doctrinal discrepancies, we need to discern truly false teachings such as prosperity gospel, Mormonism, SDA, JW, and Roman Catholicism. But even more, now that the end is near, we need to unite over these differences and reach out to the lost. They won’t turn to Christ because of our internal disputes. God bless

You'll have to explain Tony Evans. I've listened to him for years and while I don't agree with all his interpretations I would hardly place him in the false teacher category.

Hm. So I’m staunchly Reformed and I affirm every strictly doctrinal statement you made in this video. I’m having a tough time coming to terms with what you said about Mike Winger. Despite my theological disagreements with him (particularly on soteriology), I’ve always found him to be super sound. He stands up for Calvinists against the hate we get and represents us fairly, which is unheard of from Arminians. He denounces legalist positions that are more common in his circles. The list goes on. I am absolutely flabbergasted to learn that he called Johnson and White brothers. This is vexing for me. The rest of the list is A+.

In the end I realized that that most people in the church are looking for a teacher that affirms there interpretation. Be it ‘Calvinist or Arminian’ which in my position I wish we didn’t identify by neither.

When you are born again God gives you amazing discernment , glad I knew about all these fakes and I’m happy others see how they are false also, I am truly with my brothers and sisters in Christ. 💙

I think we have to be gracious to other brothers and sister in Christ. Everyone is growing in their own way. What is more important is to preach the gospel. God is in control!

there's a term for false teachers who have orthodox statements of faith on their websites, it's called "website orthodoxy". a lot of them will have a statement of faith that sounds like a Calvinist wrote it and then promote and teach all types of heresies. it's bait for those who don't read their bible enough and don't practice discernment enough to hone it
