Having started this challenge from day one, the first week was a struggle against doubt, distractions, and uncertainty. I accepted Jesus as savior while just a young boy. I memorized the order of books of the Bible, owned my own Bible, but did not really read its contents. Soon therafter, during my early teens a rapid a succession of crisis and tragedy tested my fath. My faith was planted on rocky soil, and I rapidly spiraled into aimlessly drifting into self inflicted pain and trouble through drugs and alcohol. This continued for seemingly countless decades. Now, I am in my Sixties, and this immersion into The Word, has revealed Him again as never before. When I started the Anchored challenge, the reading seemed too long, and hard to keep pace. Progressively, as each week passed, reading and praying got easier and more exciting. Unexpectedly, I realized I was no longer on schedule, but weeks ahead! This is transformative in my life. Thank you Jesus, and thank you brothers and sisters in Christ for presenting the Anchored Life immersion.
