Well this does it for me. Im not ever renting a storage that is so worthless at being secure from easy access by thieves. Those places are worthless now. Id rather put my stuff in a C train shipping container out on some farmers property. 😮

Storage units are an automatic loss anyway it’s almost better to sell the things before storing them because it will deduct price value on everything you store. By the time he lost that stuff, he could’ve bought two more guitars with the unit rental cost. Just a warning by storage lockers that people miss payments on. I have made thousand.

They didn’t even bother with the lock at my Public Storage in Burien. They just went through the cheap as hell door! They took my dad’s guitar. I moved to Life Storage which is a joke. They raise the rent every year. I have my washer,dryer and island that I need to get rid of. The rest is clothes and crap. I think they built a new Storquest across the street. I’ve always lived in big houses and kept my stuff in the garage. Apartment living sucks.

It's happening in North Lynnwood too. Ours got hit and they stole $3,000 worth of stuff. Police are doing nothing. They got the guy on camera and police won't arrest him. He came and did it twice. Hit several units.

Happened to me ransacked Extra Space Storage Mukilteo Speedway. 3rd floor inside. Cut cylinder lock. Notified multiple break ins at this facility. Need to find onsite security person unit to rent from

You know the constitution doesn’t allow cruel and unusual punishment but we may need to change that, cutting off the right hand may have an influence on this type of behavior

someone could clean up by providing security. it's not hard the owner of the site lives there . second they do a background check and verify the credit card take finger prints and pictures of everyone who comes in . also cameras to monitor any activity. you could charge a premium for a secured unit. the family that owns the site would watch all activity. most could be done from inside your house.

Nobody is stopping you from taking out an insurance policy for your storage unit. Often times a renters policy will cover off-site storage. Mine does.

Sorry to say it people you need to not store your stuff at any place. If you're renting a small apartment then you'd just gonna have to sell that stuff. Keep your valuables with you. Quit giving your money to the storage Companies. Because they don't care. And all you do is pay a monthly rent for the stuff you already own. So either sell it get rid of it or move it in with you. Remember this is what they want of you to own nothing and be happy. Quit pain monthly storage.

People been breaking into storages for years nothing you can do to stop that ..but if it happens to you,you can say you had thousands of dollars worth of items that got stolen even if you didn't lol...
