  • @4soul.
New lock journey is always alright!!!!๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ!!!
  • @Faladoru
Considering you have had 9 years to enjoy this loc journey I would say itโ€™s not crazy to think about cutting them off. You are at a good spot to restart and you have learned a lot about taking care of them so they would undoubtedly be healthier

sometimes your gut feeling is right. i cut my 5 year old set of locs this year and i'm ready to start a 3rd set in 2024, this time fully natural freeforms. there were moments where i missed my long thick hair, but i knew it had been the right thing to do and i dont regret it now. whatever you decide, i want to thank you for continuously inspiring me to grow my hair naturally and through that face many of my insecurities which made me grow as an individual. respect
  • @ZayPierre
2016... i restarted my journey, for a 3rd time... im coming up on 8 yres in nov... keep your locks if u cut them ... they may come in handy should u decide to grow em back... i recenty started readding a few of my older lock from my 2nd time around... to fill in somenof the neww growth areas and its been great... what i learned cutting them was soo freeing... and allowed me to reknow myself in all new ways, and then made the journey so much more powerful and appreciative in the coming back and regrowing a 3rd time in an all new way, with all new energy... if you go the cuttimg route... just appreciate i t... its all part of the journey... and a blessing in you able to keep growwwing that hair. as opposed to baldong and not even having the option. Blessings bro ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Start again!!! โค Iโ€™d love to watch a new journey. Feeling water on your scalp with a fro feels amazing. Feeling your curls and unlocked hair is so nice. I started a new journey 6 months ago so I am a bit biased. ๐Ÿ˜… You inspired me to start my locs years ago (I was subbed under a different name). You have definitely inspired thousands!
  • @jonhurd9697
You gotta do what you feel would make you happiest bro. It seems to me like you've pretty much already made up your mind but it's just hard to part with something you've had goin for 9yrs...Sometimes people just to refesh and start out new to Re-energize. Either way you chose to go, I hella support it, you got this bro! Much Love, Respect and Good Vibes to you ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ™๐ŸฝโœŠ๐ŸพโœŒ๐Ÿพ

been on the same thing lately everyday I think about restarting my journey.. I love my locs but my favorite part was the beginning stages, the journey of it and watching them grow.. now its sort of a burden and and up keep.. Im on 5 years now.. I question cutting them everyday and think "am I going to have these set of locs until I die?" so I know its coming eventually.. its scary but maybe a good sacrifice for new beginnings. BIG UPS to you KNOT! if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have locs today. you gave me the confidence to be free! thank you my brother! peace and love <3
  • @The25Sister
Had my first set 7 years, now restart three weeks in. Follow your feeling, I love to follow your new journey.

Bro!โ€ฆ I have just been watching videos on people cutting their locs and I just watched your video on Zay locs cutting his dreads. I have seen your reaction to it before but I just wanted to rewatch. It made me think if you would ever cut your dreads and boom you post it literally a day after๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ By the way I've been considering cutting my locs after 6 years lol Iโ€™m only 23 and I donโ€™t want to have dreads my whole 20โ€™s but ima give it one more year and I will be chopping them of lol. Itโ€™s been a fun loc journey and I appreciate the tips you gave out to the dread community it helped us and especially me a lot ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Nothing wrong with another new journey. Im on my 2nd crown. 1st set was traditional. 2nd is semi freeform.if there's a 3rd reset, itd be all freeform .long as we plan on getting back dreadicated
  • @WrestlingSuperstar83
Bless up brotha! You encouraged me to begin my freeform journey and respect that you are empowered to begin a new journey yourself. Much respect in what you decide to do! You know whatโ€™s best! โœŠ๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ฏ
  • @wendi9268
I completely understand. I had a pineapple top for a few years, I cut them and brushed out what was left. I started a mowhawk of 30 locs. Everyone gave me so much crap about it. I'm just like hey don't tell me how to take my journey. Rock on man.
  • @Thebriceisright
I been watching you for years man weโ€™ll support you no matter what . You have the most entertaining loc content out there
  • @christylehman7274
Imagine running your fingers freely over your scalp, the weight off your neck, not dipping your hair in things, etc. Do you guy and embrace your own journey!! โค the nayshun supports you โœŒ
  • @user-yd6ze6nk7o
U have inspired us all!! Whatever u choose to do, as long as you are content with it, thatโ€™s all that matters! I started my 1st set of Freeform locs bc of you! I combed them out in December of 2021 right before having my 5th & final baby! I felt like my locs were holding onto a lot of trauma that I went through during that journey. They served their purpose & truly taught me patience, discipline, self-empowerment & most importantly self love! I had my baby in Feb of 2022 & started my 2nd loc journey May of this year! Iโ€™m now 7.5 months in & I am falling in love with my crown all over again! Iโ€™m hoping this will be my forever set but who knows! โค Go wherever your heart/spirit leads u! Best wishes on your new journey!

The videos is exactly how I am feeling. Not even lying. EVERYTHING you said is exactly how I feel. WhT really spoke to me is that thought of going back to the curly fro look and how its something you havenโ€™t been able to experience in this place in your life- I share that sentiment so deeply!
