When tax dollars don't actually go towards what lying politicians say they go towards. This isn't new. It's been building.

I don't know about everyone else but I'm a bit disturbed that we haven't heard if the rats are okay.

You know you have a foul mayor when he keeps schools open and expects the city to run as usual when they where expecting and now experiencing floods that would surely bring with it trash and sewage at knee deep levels through out the streets and side walks and expect children to commute through that disgusting filth. If students/children get skin diseases on their legs and feet or other infections from walking or standing in that, they should sue him for mismanagement for his refusal of using a remote day or canceled day. I would say this is more dangerous then a 3-4 inch snow day. You have to see some of the videos of the nasty trash people had to walk through or stand in as they waited at their bus stops going home.

It was amusing to see people still headed down the subway stairs through mini-waterfalls. Um, where do you think that water is going?

I hope the elderly and less able residents in those basements are safe. God bless.

Luckily NYC doesn’t have any other problems to deal with. 😂😂😂😂
  • @y2kmadd
That's what happens when you let garbage clog the sewers.
  • Hopefully the migrants will get to be in hotels. Do not worry about the other people of New York and those homeless like our American Veterans. Just take care of the migrants from all over the world first.

I can't imagine living in a basement apt and 2 feet of water pours in... There goes your rug, furniture and belongings...

New York has flooded something like three times in the last five years... weren't they planning to address the storm sewer system and bring it up to speed? I can't imagine a basement apartment... high rents and mold.

They didn't just start getting heavy rain in the city . Clean up the trash and the storm drain system and the pump station

Man the rats will be in all the restaurants, building hallways, apartment buildings, everywhere high up except down in the subways, sewers, and basements. Same for cockroaches.
  • 1:15 Wait a minute. He just said this happens all the time. So why are they declaring a state of emergency?

Imagine you have city sitting next to the ocean and you still cannot drain water out of it instantly. Perfect city management
