Ed-Engine Vlog update

Published 2020-09-14
Just a quick update video. Ed-engine videos are on pause. They are fun to make, but take a lot of time which would better be spent on the project. Looking forward to starting them up again when I have more exciting stuff to show.

  • Take your time to make all of this at a pace that you want to, but don't think we don't want to see something because it's not "exciting" or doesn't have some fancy looking front end interface, can't speak for anyone else but I'm here just to understand your process and how you go about all of the technical details of this stuff. Back-end development is still development and I would be interested in seeing everything data transfer related and nitty gritty. It gives a better idea of what actually goes into something like this, and your process in solving the problems. Keep up the good work!
  • Hey man, the animation nodes series will come back any time soon? Congrets for the great work!

You could do some time-lapses if you are worried you are not putting enough up or for whatever reason (Someone may find it interesting). Just a thought but thanks for the update

Cool, thanks for the update :) Random question but are you (or anybody in this comment section) aware of any active forum / Facebook group etc related to education/teaching of 3dcg/vfx/gamedev. I can't seem to figure any, although there are certainly people who have great resources and tools or ideas.

Hello, I am new to Blender and watched this video you did in 2013 https://youtu.be/3e9f9D0KTcw I was wondering if this can be done just as easily with with version 2.9 using a downloaded Google satellite map because I want to overlay my own lines and cover modern roads to make a pre-industrial interactive map. You go fast but that's what's the pause button is for and I like the way you explain things, thanks
