I'm not sure about that, Dev. My disagreement is rooted in the observation that these companies often lay off their lower-level employees while their top executives continue to receive high salaries, even during difficult financial times that affect everyone else. It seems unfair that those in positions of power are not willing to share in the company's financial burdens by accepting lower salaries for a year or two, while the little guy is left to bear the brunt of the cuts.

I understand that Dev has a good working relationship with Universal so I see the need to “defend” the budget cuts but I totally disagree with his stance that nobody was up in arms and not making a big deal when Disney had their (multiple) budget cuts a couple years ago. I heard ALOT of people speaking up against that, if I heard it I find it hard to believe that Dev did not hear the same outcry of people when it happened. But again I get the motivation behind the defense.

I love that you're doing more Universal content, Dev. They've really won me over from Disney, and that's saying a lot since I've been a Disney fan from birth, but it's great to see the investments they're making. Universal also does a great job helping out parents with neurodiverse kiddos... something that doesn't get a lot of coverage, but means a lot to some of us.

My favorite Harry Potter character is Sirius Black. Best quote "If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals". I thought he was the pivotal moral character of the entire series.

Great job, sir, as always. And I totally agree with your commentary. It always is sad to see employees lose jobs, but as you point out just look at the opportunities that Universal will be bringing to the area within the next 12 months or so. Give the organization credit for what its future plans are.

My favorite HP character is Mrs. Molly Weasley! Especially since becoming a mother myself. Her love and protection of her children is admirable. She took Harry under her wing with her hands already full. I mean, the iconic battle scene and line with Bellatrix?! Need I say more…

My husband can't wait till we go in September. All he says is ,"when are we gonna see Harry Potter?"! Booking The Hard Rock hotel for the last week of September. What a great way to retire!! Looking forward to returning to Universal. Thanks for updates.

My favorite HP character definitely Neville Longbottom. He’s got such a great redemption arc story . From being bullied ,not believing in himself , and “ why is it always me “ to a hero that helps kill Voldemort.

Thanks for the update! My favorite character is Severus Snape. His character is so complex and the plot twist at the end about how he was always protecing Harry and how he loved Lily was very endearing.

We love your content and have been watching for several years, all the way back to Prince Charming Dev and shortly after you started. I love you concentrating on Universal often! It drives me nuts to see so many people so brainwashed about Disney. Luna Lovegood is my favorite character! I love how mysterious she is and always so positive about life. She shows so much kindness to characters in the movie. It would be nice if people in the world could show this kindness!
