What Is God's WIll?

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

God's will: no matter how much we think we know it, we really only see the tip of the iceberg.

So I guess in the end it boils down to intimacy with Jesus. Just continue to get to know Him better and to grow in Him. God bless :)

"The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart." - Luke 6:45 This is a fulfillment of what Ezekiel prophesied: a new heart. That's the heart to which these brothers are referring.

I’ve tripped and I’ve fallen many times while following my heart. Each time that I raise I asked Jehovah to increase my faith, and recently to give me a new heart to follow....

Living for Jesus - Trusting , obeying and speaking the truth of Jesus for there is no other way 

I am in awe of the way in which these two men of God are utilizing the technology and other resources of our era to deliver the profound messages that God has sent us through His word. I say to you guys, be steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord for as much as you know your labour is not in vain. You have been a blessing, may you also be richly blessed and favoured in your ministry.

we are not to follow the desires of our heart the heart is wicked...

Guys! There is a difference between God's Will of Decree (what He ordains will happen, which will happen no matter what - i.e. creation of the world, Christ's payment for sins) and God's Will of Desire (His moral will, as revealed within the Bible. These instructions, of course, can be disobeyed.) One can be resisted, the other cannot. But other than that, God's will is not some "secret plan" hidden from us that we must discover. And thus we pray, close our eyes etc. and wait for nudgings toward what might be God's will. Not at all. See: Decision Making and the Will of God by Garry Frieson. Super-helpful on this topic. God followed His heart....He mad us in HIS image...is the heart wicked? Apart from His Oh yeah! but God put a new heart in me when i became born again. When my heart follows my FLASH of course it is wicked....when my heart Aline with GOD's oh it is so good! Mercy and compassion , etc. , doing what is right become so much easier. Just me oh no...HIM & I oh yeah what a team.

in the end when we connect with God .. when we get to know him in an intimate.. personal way .. your desires start being his desires... if we wan to know God wil for our lives . well .. we ask him .. and little by little he will start revealing it to us .. but the main thing is that we want what he wants .. we want our heart to look like his heart and for that to happen we have to know his heart to know his desires .. we have to know him first to know him we read his word and we talk to him
