My somewhat random thoughts on what's going on with the housing market in our area and in general.

-Current Seller's Market - we are seeing an early spring market with lots of buyer activity. However, there are still less homes for sale than there are buyers who want them. This demand keeps upward pressure on the prices, and in certain price points, we are still seeing multiple offers.

-Why the Market won't "Crash" (different circumstances than in 2008)

-Don't wait to buy - even though interest rates are no longer at 3-4% , 7% is not 18%, rates will always fluctuate, and you can refinance later if need be. Keep in mind that home prices will continue to appreciate over time - at an average of 6% every year, and the sooner you can start building equity, the better.
