Skier for the first 20 years. Switched to snowboarding. Never looked back. But then again I'm and old man. Snowboarding is just easier on my body. And..oh yeah...beer tastes better on a snowboard!
  • Never tried riding but It's all about the rush. Outdoors with friends, not at work, competing with gravity and hanging out afterwards . That's what it's all about - skiing or riding.

Just to be more clear: skiing powder is A LOT harder, it's not even about the skis you have, you need to have a really good technique, you can ride powder with just 90mm underfoot if you have the proper technique, with a snowboard you can ride powder even if you are not that good on it

As a skier, I found it more fun for tricks etc but snowboarding is also very fun. I tend to switch it up quite often which I love doing. I’ve started skiing ⛷ at the age of 2 and never stopped and I loved it ever since. Then, when I was 14 years old I started snowboarding 🏂 I’m now 17 and I love the fact that I can do both without many complications. Obviously, I’m more advanced at skiing because I’ve being doing that longer but have a great balance between the two.

I would Recommend skiers and snowboarders to try other sport, and reach at least basic level of carving/edge to edge turns. When you will go back to whatever you ride, you will have more safer experience, as you will become better at predicting moves of downhill skiers/boarders. In a way, it's like becoming better (safer) pedestrian after starting to drive.

I’m a 16 year skier and have started snowboarding for about 3 years, I have to say snowboarding is a lot more fun, but I do think seeing skiers do tricks is more stylish in my opinion.

In my opinion seeing a skier do swaps and rail tricks look so much steezier

I learned skis really fast and didn’t like how it got boring after a couple of years, snowboarding took longer to learn for me and has that learning curve I like to challenge myself with. For me snowboarding was harder but in the end felt much more rewarding IMO

I've done both, started boarding, then switched it up. I learned snowsports at Boston Mills, the runs are so short I got tired of constantly messing with bindings. I've skied the last 20 years now, taught my son to skis two seasons ago and now he's begging to snowboard. I have a feeling I'll be back on a board this season at least once.
  • As someone who also does both sports, agree with pretty much all of this, good vid my dude!
  • @astrahl
Dude great perspectives. I’m an all time skier but this made me want to try boarding

Bro, to me you are an advanced, insane pro! Incredible job with all your videos! Appreciate it a lot! Keep up the awesome work! Thanks!
  • @WhiteWennings
I love how cheerful and hyped in every video. Love your videos by the way😀
  • When skiing, you can have fun regardless of the conditions. Snowboarding is insanely fun on soft and powder.

Great vid over all, as someone who does both i would say over all snowboarding is more fun for just casual riding and skis are more fun for technical and advanced terrain.

Why do we have to argue can’t we just like both I prefer to snowboard but I can appreciate both sports they are fun in there own way

For me personally I found skiing to be more sketchy, I learned a lot quicker on skis but going down steeper hills just terrified me and it wasn’t fun for that reason. I switched to boarding, fell every other second…. Going straight on flat lol But once I got it I felt way more safe and confident and I have a blast doing it!
