1. Why did Paul not allow his friends to change his mind about going to Jerusalem?
Paul wanted to obey God no matter the cost. God's plan for our lives is better than all the comfort and ease we may want. God had promised He would be with Paul no matter the trouble he faced.
2. Is following Jesus always easy? Why or why not?
God never promised following Jesus would be easy. Jesus even said the world will hate those who love Him. Following Jesus is always worth any hardship because we have a greater joy in knowing Him.
