Hey guys, I realized I haven't really showed you guys a lesson in our Ready to Read program from Gather Round Homeschool, so that is what I am doing today. We've already went through Burrows and Holes Ready to Read 1, and now we are on book two of At the Pond. We’ve though of doing this program with my youngest but she’s already doing phonics work at 4. It looks awesome that everything is together and extra phonics work could help her. Nothing wrong wiv a snack while learning!!! My 4 year old does the regular gather round and she loves it but it’s her choice at this age.

I’m excited to see this. I’ve started thinking about this for my youngest who is going to be Kinder next year. He’s my 4th kid so I know I want to be very gentle for Kinder 😀 Im thinking about starting with CLE K2 and then starting with Burrows & Holes. This looks so cute and easy to implement. He is finishing up L&N 2 in the next few weeks!

Thanks for sharing! We want to use this program next year possibly. We are doing L&N right now and my son loves it. Did you find that this program taught your son to read? This will be my first time teaching reading and it makes anxious. 😬
