Ray Price never lost his ability to sing. Sounded just as good in his golden years, as his young years. No auto tune. Just great singing.
  • My grandson, at the age of 16 said, "there's no point in following your dreams, they don't really mean anything anyway." When I heard him say that I asked him to sit down, that I needed to tell him a story, a story about a man that chose to follow his dreams. And I can't really think of a better, or truer story than that of Kris Kristofferson. They say that Nashville TN is the song writers capital, that all has to do with this man. After I told my grandson the story, he now chooses to follow his dreams, and become who he chooses to be. Larry Gatlin, of the Gatlin brothers once said, "Every word in every song you've ever heard is in the dictionary, but no one knew how to put them together quite like Kris Kristofferson. Thank you!
  • After nearly 50 years, Ray Price singing "For The Good Times" still gives me chills.

Simple, no flashing light, no fire works, no rude dancing or cussing. Talent and respect. Special
  • Ray Price’s voice has not dimmed with age! Kris is a national treasure!
  • I can think of no one who deserves this tribute more than Kris. He is just the best.

I'm 68, and I'm always amazed at how many of Kris's songs float through my head when I'm doing mundane tasks. Thank you Sir.

I am 56 and I have been madly in love with Kris Kristofferson since I was 13. His voice is just so haunting and his songs are forever classic. One of the smartest and most talented writers and singers ever. Rhodes Scholar, Military are just a few other wonderful amazing things about this man. We love you Kris!!! <3

Who are these people who put thumbs down on music this beautiful? Thank you, Kris, for years of great music. You raise us all up!
  • Kris was working as a janitor in Nashville when Johnny Cash met him. Country music history and one of the best writers in all of music history was discovered. Thank you Johnny for your believing in Kris and for the friendship you two had for the rest of Johnny’s life!!

Ray Price is pure class. He, Waylon and Willie are three of the best of music writers and performers and you gotta be something special if they turn out to praise a fellow singer.

Kris Kristofferson... what a gift to the world of meaningful country music. You can’t write stuff like he’s written without having lived, experienced and loved life & the people in your path. He’s been a blessing in so many of our lives & I, for one, am so glad I have been alive in his era...👏👏👏 👌 💕

Kris Kristofferson is one of the truly great song writers in America. I can feel the hangover in "Sunday Morning coming Down" And the reverence of "Why Me Lord"
