Today i went to a abandon railroad that was built in the 1800s and last used in 1930s. This railroad track can be found at Kenosha Pass and will take you to the old lake at 10,000 feet. This railroad use to go from Leadville, Colorado to Denver, Colorado.

Denver metro resident here. I knew Hwy 285 used to be the C&S from Denver to near Buena Vista, but never knew tracks still existed on top of Kenosha Pass! Definitely something to explore next time we're up there. Which side of 285 are the tracks? Given how there's highway noise in the background, seems like they are right under our noses whenever we drive through!
