Hey man, thanks. THAT'S what I like. Short and to the point. Great bike. Hmmm.
  • @ourholm
Thanks for reviewing the Atlas! Did you find the gear range of the CVT to be limiting on steep hills?

interesting, checks a lot of boxes as a possible Aventon level replacement. But its weird for a commuter bike to not at least have an option for a front rack or mounts for a front basket. Its one of the things i do not like about my Level. got as topeak rack that does fit suspension bikes up front, but I would prefer a stem mounted basket mounting to not add weight to steering
  • Ok, thats a nice bike. The only point to criticize is the point that you don't find anything to criticize. You don't find this very often. It just need a suspension seatpost, but that with most of the bikes. Even the price is very reasonable for what it is. Nice.

I would like to see a guard over the belt. Also, a double leg kick stand.
  • Like you said this bike checks off most of the boxes for my needs,,but the only thing stopping me is that it has no local bike shop relationships for me to see, ride and get service if needed in the future. I live just North of Boston and am not willing to drop $4K for a bike via mail order. I have been riding e-bikes for several years now and if a problem arises,,,,most local shops will not touch them. EVELO come on strike up a relationship with some local bike shops like some of the other online e-bike manufacturers have figured out. It 2023 after all.

It checks my boxes with one exception, which may not rule it out, and that is suspension. One thing if I had one is chop off the excess rear fender. Everything else seems very sweet. Price isn't bad not great, but for a belt drive and less derailleur which is very favorable it's doable. If course I'd have to add very bright brake and turn signal lights.

looks like a good bike.. i noticed they are sold out..
  • For this high of a price you can get a name brand bike shop e-bike - like the 2023 Specialized Turbo Vado EQ it also has a mid-drive motor, fenders & bike rack ($3250)
  • Check out the Eahora Juliet it’s a 60ah 48v e-bike for 1999$! Just got mine a few days ago and the range is absolutely insane 2800 watt hours of capacity I rode it all over my city 35 miles and was still over 80% battery capacity

I think this guy should marry the Evelo as he LOVES it so much.
  • Give me an 8 speed cassette, then the bike is perfect. I dont want internal gears and a fancy shifter. And that "auto shift" on other bikes, not interested in that feature at all!
  • @nlorain
the bike weighs 58 ibs without a battery, which means you won't be able to carry it on a car rack (maybe in a truck if you're strong enough to lift it). Unless you use it mostly for commuting, being forced to always start your ride from home is a dealbreaker. I like to go on relatively long rides (50-60 miles) in Northern California, and exploring new places is part of it. Otherwise the bike ticks all the right checkboxes
  • @MrWolfen
3200.00 for a bike to pedal. LOL
  • @gary7vn
I bought a horrible ebiike but only after watching a dozen reviews on YT where the "reviewer" just LOVED it, as it was so AWESOME, so INCREDIBLE. i will pass on this AWESEOME INCREDIBLE AMAZING AND WONDERFUL ''review'.
  • A paltry 600W continuous motor with a measly 15Ah battery for $3,500?!?!? In 2023?!?? You're kidding, right? Is this a really late April Fools joke?
  • @eliwol3789
I like the bike it’s just ugly as fuck and it is heavy
