If you havenโ€™t been to Africa to see elephants or any of the magnificent animals - do it. It is truly amazing.

The way they take care of their young is so incredible. I bet they get real angry when the bulls start pushing the young around. P
  • Just looking at the pictures makes me emotional! Can you imagine having the privilege of being close? They are beautiful and majestic!

I guess you'd only realise how big a fully grown bull Elephant is when you are stood facing one and you both are looking at each other.

I am quite surprised bull elephants can be so harmful to the calves, I am so glad all the female and baby elephants (calves) ran away far for safety xxx
  • That one bull had absolutely massive tusks! I really hope he is the one who breeds, he deserves it.
  • How anyone can slaughter these magnificent and sentient beings is beyond me.

I love this beautiful giants โค
  • I am afraid that a mistake has been made here. Female elephants don't come into oestrus for 3-4 days every 4 years. They do so for 3-4 days every 4 months. However, the time difference between births is 4-5 years. 22 months of gestation period, plus 3 years of breastfeeding and teaching the basic survival skills to her child, before an elephant mother is ready to mate once more
