What is it like to be exposed in front of someone who is a Father or a Father figure? It’s embarrassing. That’s how Adam felt when he realized he was naked. God set boundaries for Adam to follow because a man is known not by what he says but by what he does. Discipline for a man is a sign of love. There are eight characteristics that children exhibit as a result of discipline.

1. Self- Control
2. Empathy
3. A Desire to Feel Good
4. Responsible
5. Love Themselves
6. Accountable
7. Respect Authority
8. Happy

We hide because of the fear that our authenticity will repel others from loving us. Often, we protect the most productive parts of ourselves; parts of ourselves that could save our entire families. When we start hiding God starts seeking, and He desires to find us and make us whole.

    Bishop Jake's, so true on my Dads 70th birthday we gave him a Party, he cried and said he didn't think we cared because of the way my mother portrayed him to be, but he had not forgiven him self for not being able to save his siblings in a house fire and he carried that to his death. If he were living today he would be 91, he's been dead about 8yrs, lived an unfulfilled life. His father left the family at a early age he was the oldest. My father was a good man an intelligent man, teachable and loving and I miss him dearly.

    As a single woman who doesn’t have a relationship with my father, I can really say that this is still a blessing to me and made me look at men from a different perspective. Men are just as valuable as woman are and we need to lift them up and I want to be that supportive wife to my future husband that can love him unconditionally and love him through his nakedness.
